I hate it when people try to stir things up!

So here's the lowdown. Usually I go to my boyfriend's house after work on Friday nights. Well, I couldn't tonight because I have a major project due for class next week. I told my dad that I wasn't going to J's house tonight. My father then said, "Since you are not going to his house tonight then he will probably have his other girlfriend over to his house." I just went along with it 'cause I did not want to have another argument with my dad.

I guess I should back up a little bit. J is friends with 2 of his exgirlfriends. Well, for some reason the people at work like to know about my love life. My manager knows that J is friends with his exgfs, and he has to comment that J is probably doing something more with them 'cause according to my boss there is no way a guy can be friends with his ex. I think you can. I trust J completely. It's just when people start saying things like this I wonder is there a reason why people don't think J will be faithful to me. Is is because I'm really short or I'm not that pretty? I just don't know anymore. At the start of our relationship J would send me little comments just to show that he was interested and cared, but I don't even get that any more. I hate for people making me doubt myself!
